Google Ads Webpage for Nonviolent Peaceforce

PROJECT OVERVIEW:

Project Summary:

Nonviolent Peaceforce needed a new webpage on their domain to create Google Ads campaigns aimed at driving sales for their products. These products are housed on a separate website. Google Ads requires ads to link to a webpage owned by the creator. So I developed a dedicated page under their domain to facilitate this and integrated this page with their Google Ads strategy.

Role & Duration:

As a marketing assistant, I conducted keyword research for the ad campaigns, designed and developed the webpage in WordPress, and created a Google Ads Campaign to drive traffic. This project was completed from January 2024 to March 2024.

THE PROBLEM:

Google’s ad policy requires that the nonprofit use a webpage from their own domain to create ads. 

GOALS:

1. Develop an engaging webpage in WordPress to drive users to the NP store and boost product sales.

2. Create a Google Ads Search Campaign to generate traffic to the new webpage.

DESIGN PROCESS:

1. Reviewing Current Webpages:

I analyzed the existing offsite e-commerce website to understand the current setup and integration needs.

2. Meeting with the External Relations Manager:

Collaborated with the External Relations Manager to clarify project requirements and goals.

3. Creating Initial Design Solutions:

Developed several design concepts for the new webpage and presented them to the External Relations Manager for feedback.

4. Write Copy for Webpage:

Developed and wrote copy for the new webpage.

5. Revamping Design Solutions:

Refined the design based on feedback to better align with the project’s objectives.

6. Developing the Webpage:

Created the first draft of the webpage using WordPress, ensuring it met all functional and aesthetic requirements.

7. Presenting and Refining:

Presented the draft to the External Relations Manager for additional feedback and made further updates as needed.

RESULTS:

The new webpage, designed under Nonviolent Peaceforce’s domain, enabled the creation of a Google Ads search campaign to effectively drive traffic to the NP store. This setup facilitated the development and execution of targeted ads, helping to boost sales and increase visibility for NP’s products.
